So i just completed my first road trip in my stock V.SL. I clocked a total of 1320KM (825 miles) in a bit over 24 hours. I left Vancouver (Burnaby actually) to Nelson, BC on Friday at 7pm and returned last night at around 9:15pm.

The road consisted of curvy mountain passes along with long flat and hilly straightaways. Thankfully the roads in both directions were bare and dry and in decent condition too. So decent that I decided to see how fast I could go. I was averaging pretty decent time. I spent extended periods of time running at 140kmph-160kmph but my top off on the trip back was... well take a look...

192 km/h = 119.30 mph

Thant was a lot of fun.

I've made that trip a couple of times myself. But never in my V (yet) and never at 192kmh!! My favourite part is that climb out of Osoyoos.

i was going to ask about mileage but I don't think it would be very good on some parts of the trip.

Ya there were times I was reving 5000 up hill. I wrote off fuel economy in the very beginning. I spent over $150 on gas in the last 24h. I'll try for fuel economy next time.

Yep stock tires. lol. I really need better rims. There were times I forced myself to slow down cuz of the tires and lack of traction. I need new tires and I need to lower her a bit nire. Then see what I can push. LOL

I had a blast though.

I didn't. I have a little common sense. The roads were next to empty. Most people travel those routes Friday night and come back Sunday. I came back Saturday so the roads were clear. Other then the occasional big rig.
