I'm about to purchase a new Rogue, is it ok to get a car that's been test driven by other people? I ask only because I read that the car shouldn't be driven over 4000rpm for the first 600miles. I know when people test drive cars they tend to redline them. thanks

I sure hope that most people do not redline brand new cars when they test drive them. It is senseless abuse of a new engine that will either do damage to the car that they me themselves may purchase, or may set up the other person who buys the car for future problems. How inconsiderate!

I guess there will always be people who do not care, and only want to test drive a car to "see what it will do".

I agree, but that doesn't answer the question

Your question is rather ambiguous. Is it "OK" to purchase a car test driven by other people? Sure its ok, as long as you're willing to purchase a "used" car. If you're getting a good deal on it, then I would take it. Otherwise, get a new one.
