I have a set of 350Z 18" Track wheels that I would like to put on my 90 NA. The problem is that the stock rotors don't fill the wheel and look odd. I have seen people go with the 350Z track 12.75 rotor which would require I swap for 300ZX 30mm aluminum calipers but I only see people doing this on the front. Can anyone suggest a front and rear setup that would compliment a bigger wheel? For me the "upgrade" would be pure aesthetics as this isn't a daily driver or something I track.

Thank you in advance.

So larger rotors in the back than the front?

Also, I thought I read some comments about issues with the ebrake cable when swapping for larger rotors. Does anyone know of concerns with that?

Whats your budget? You can do the 12.75" rotors but they wont change the look much. If you want something to really fill up the wheels, you're talking more like 14" rotors, and they come with a hefty price tag.

I did CTSV brakes from a 2006 cadi CTS-V, 4 piston brakes with an adapter and 12.75" rotors from a 350Z track. They fill up the wheels quite a bit. The calipers are a lot larger than I though compared to the Z's. Rotors are definitely larger. SO far I have been very happy with mine. I think total cost was about $500. I was able to pay for a lot of it by selling the Z brakes, so in reality I paid 200 for a very nice upgrade.

Just a thought for you. Ill take some pics if you like.

I was thinking about the CTS or SRT swap. The rotors are definitely less of o problem than getting some bigger calipers. How was the swap?

Swap was relatively easy. When you use 240sx brake lines, use the longer lines vs the shorter lines. WHen I installed the brakes, I had to trim some of the knuckleby the brake bolts for the brakes to fit and had to add a spacer between the brcket and knuckle for it to sit straight.

Other than light mods, it was relatively easy. Took me maybe 1.5 hours installing everything. You will need larger wheels with a decent offset, deeper hub, for it the clear the caliper. I have g35 wheels and had to ad a 20mm spacer, but they also have an offset of +45. If I was to only use a +5mm spacer, I would have been fine. I think if you have a +35 or lower offset you may be fine depending on the wheel.
