I was interested in getting new rotors and brake calipers. Can anyone reccomend upgraded slotted rotors and calipers? I was considering on getting slotted rotors that would be bigger and look good and putting stillen or brembo calipers. does anyone know how much stillen or brembo brakes would run me?

Pretty simple there.

Brembo does not currently have a setup for our car.

Rotora has OEM sized drilled/slotted rotors for our cars.

If you have 19" wheels, you can use the brakes from the G37.

Yes the g-37s brakes will fit your 08. You will need the calipers, pads, rotors and banjo bolt from a 07 and up g-37 sport or 370z if you want black calipers with nissan emblems. These calipers are huge, so just having 19 in wheels does not always mean you will have clearance for the calipers. The rears also fit, you just have to trim the dust shields.[IMG][/IMG]

My dealership where I purchased the car from sent me a coupon for 10% off for parts and accessories. I used it to get the calipers and pad kits. Pad kits come with pad, shims and hardware. Cost $640.00 for both front and rear calipers and pad kits. I got 14 in drilled and slotted zinc plated front rotors and drilled and slotted rear rotors from OC Autosports for $370.00. Altima stainless steel lines from stillen. Direct bolt on affair. The stock banjo bolts that secure the brake lines to the calipers were to long. If you try and use them and torque them, you could crack the caliper. Get banjo bolts for the g37 about 6 bucks. Brake performance over stock is vastly improved! About $1100 for 14 in big brake kit front and rear, best thing I could have done!

I would try your dealership first. See how much calipers for a 370z sport would cost. I think riverside infiniti can get them also. You might also want to try a few wrecking yards. When I bought my spare tire from a wrecked 370, there was a guy there buying the brakes for his 350 for $300 for all four calipers. If not, google it, or try the classified section here. Realistically, brake options for our cars is greater than we think. If they make it for a g37, it should fit on our cars. Brembo, endless, rotora, even project mu. It really depends on how much money you are willing to spend. There is a guy here with a 4 door altima with 15 in 12 piston K-sport brakes on his car. They look like trash can lids behind his wheels. He got them from a g37.
