A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone knew what Nissans come with the Brembo option - and if a different model - would it be possible to swap (02 SE-R)??? I frequent lots of auto wreckers and they dont seem to have a clue...which means if I can track down the model I can get the brakes for a steal.

Thanks

The only option you have is finding some from another Spec V.

How common were the Spec V's with the Brembo option? I can save a fortune if I can track one down! Thanks for the heads up!!

I see them quite often on ebay. Think I saw them somewhere else forsale, let me see if they are still available.

I also called the local Nissan Dealer - they run about 225 (CAN dollars) for the calipers, 199.99 for the pads, and 90 for rotors. All I really need is calipers - I ll source my own pads (using the informative forums of course;) and rotors. I really want to find em used because it ll shave a bit of price off and leave room in the wallet for other upgrades. In your honest opinion, is it worth the upgrade? The nissan parts guy was like "why would you want to do that?" implying that overall its a waste of time.Thank you very much RED_DET for the replies!! You guys rock and keep up the good work

I liked the feel of the oem Spec V brakes w/OEM pads. I haven't driven in Spec V w/Brembos. I can't imagine the stopping power is going to be night and day. Now over repeated high speed stops like on the track, the Brembos will prevail everytime. If you can find a set for a decent price, jump all over them. I would like to get a set for the wifes car.
