Brake pedal click

Hello all. Minor issue...I occasional get a small click from the brake pedal upon pressing it. Only once then goes away for a while. Any clue what it might be?

Its actually the brake relay switch (that signals your brake lights to come on) clicking when you step on the brakes. My car does that same thing and I think it is common with our cars. Though I do notice that the clicking noise diminishes as I drive. When I asked the Infiniti Service person about it he mentioned it was common, though I do think he was being lazy about not wanting to switch it out since everything is working properly.

Thanks for your response. On my first visit I mentioned it to the SA and they claimed they lubed something on the pedal but it made no difference. It really is minor. I do thank you for your post.

Any solution to this brake click. It is either happening more often or I am getting more sensitive. Sure would like to solve it.

I would bring it back to the dealer if it's bothering you. Continue bringing it back until you are satisfied.

I don't experience any click on my car.
