1990 240sx

this has always been a problem, since i bought the car months ago. its been on jack stands on and off for months but now that I completed my swap, I cant drive without working brake lights

It could be the switch behind the brake pedal or a bad fuse. my passenger side fuse box, in the engine bay is missing most of the small fuses and I am getting replacements today.

thanks in advance

the little plastic thing on the pedal that hits the switch and turns off the brake lights when you let go of the pedal broke off on my car last week, brake lights stayed on until i pulled the fuse.

found a plastic clip thingy to fill the hole and hit the switch, problem solved.

Yep, I've fixed the same thing on an Acura and a Subaru. That would be my guess.
