Bose Speaker Problems

Make sure that they wire them up correctly before leaving the lot.

If you plan on using a lot of bass, then I recommend lining the speaker area with Dynamat. Keeps down the rattle. J30s are notorious for speaker/trunk rattle, & it sounds AWFUL.

this is true however its mainly the trunk latch itself which rattles not the whole lid....also i do have a LOT of bass and my latch doesnt rattle...its my entire back bumper...lol...i checked it out and the braces that hold the bumper on are pretty much rusted to hell....lmao

You won't be able to tell from a camera phone. It only has one microphone. You can't tell spacial sounds coming from one microphone. That's why God gave you two ears.

I know the recording from my phone was awful. Trust me, it sounds much better in person.

But seriously, go with 3 ways Naladude911. That way, your highs, mids, & lows will be evenly (sorry if mispelled) spread out & the speaker won't have to compete against itself.

Oh, & throw some Dynamat in there while you're at it. Can't go wrong with that. Helps to deaden any unwanted rattle & your music will come out crisp & clean.

Well I got my speakers installed today. Wow, they are 10x better then the bose's lol. The rear are Alpine Type S (sps-609), three way speakers, and the front are Type S two way speakers. Pretty sweet. They did a clean job, and they heard what I was talking about. Farting is when your speakers/amps havent been used for a while lol.

it will just turn out like yours lol. Those tweeters on the 6x9's are amazing lol. SPS - 690 is the speaker, look it up

But I tell you what...a stereo system with clean, crisp, balanced music will turn heads more than a snotload of bass with rattle & no other harmonics. Trust me, I've tried both ways.

Alpine...nice brand choice. I prefer Kenwood/Pioneer, but Alpines are good as well.

That's why I love my 10" Bazooka. Good clean, tight bass that's not overpowering. I DID pull it out of the J before giving the J to my FIL. Probably put it in the Excursion.

Compared to my Dad's 2007 Tahoe with a 12 speaker Bose surround sound system, this new system sounds exactly the same, not kidding. I blasted Mrs.Independent by Ne-Yo, and it sounded the same, if not better then in the Tahoe.
