So this morning I was driving to get some coffee, and came to a stop light, so I did what most normal human beings do, and slowed down. I also had my ipod playing, via one of them 12v players you plug into the power thing. Technical I know. But anyway, when I stepped on the brake, I got mass static and no music. Off the brake, music came back. Back on the brake, bye bye music.

I've noticed it's happened a few times before, but it never bothered me too much as it never cut the music completely out. This time it did and now it has to go. Anyone know if this is just some freak occurance, or is something wrong?

Oh yeah, it was normal braking conditions, no slamming or swerving or anything.

Does the entire radio shut off, or does the iPod cut out? Like, does this happen without your ipod thing?

It has happened without the ipod player plugged in. Straight static with regular radio. My 03 civic used to do this too. Y'know, before I totaled it.

It's the soul of your old civic, it comes back to haunt you just in time for the spirit of halloween.

Beware of its ghostly vtakks.

This is what i've been talking about with my bose radio. also it has to do with the speed sensative volume controll built into the radiothat little module is messing up on these radios. And it causes the radio to have no volume and even static playing from the speakers when you brake. It kicks on and off my car will even play only out of the pass side speakers sometimes. but then will revert back and play all and then play only on the driver side

it gets worse and is very annoying!!

But umm... This is really horrible if it's going to persist/get worse. Oh well, I guess this means AVIC-D3 comes sooner than expected. Unless it wont fix it. Then I'll cry.

Anyone know a good dealer for the Pioneer D3? I don't wanna buy it from friggin circuit city, for very obvious reasons.
