How does Bosch Oil Filter compare against OEM and K&N?

Also, the Part Number is 3323 for Bosch right? There's some for sale and I'm thinking of picking up a few.

Thanks & Happy Holidays NICO!

Bosch is high quality. One of the best in the market. I wouldn't go OEM, they are just inferior. K&N has good filtering quality also. Go with either one of those to.

Adidas,do you have data to back up your findings, I'm not being fecisious, or a d!ck, I'd honestly like to know, serisouly. and heres why:

I try to find data all the time but here's what I find out. If you use FRAM, you think FRAM's the best, If you use Royal Purple Oil, you think that's the best...and not one fan boy has an ounce of data to back it up...

"Quaker State FTW, no way Penzoil FTMFW"

"Mobil 1 synth is so superior to Castrol Synth" get the idea?

Bosch looks to half the price of a mbil 1 filter so hell yeah go for it! And yes 3323 is correct...

I would be a little iffy on the "Pentius" just cause I never heard of it, and Generics,....but to be honest the OEM filter is fine...I mean If ou are going to abuse the hell out of your car and run long between changes yeah a little better filter could help but for regular oil changes, meh...

Yeah I think the Bosch is just peachy

A quick question. Can I use this Bosch 3323 on my sister's QR25DE, 2.5S?

The bosch 3323 filters were on sale at autozone a while ago and I picked up several. I prefer them over a lot of others because they just seem to be of a better quality and when they're on sale it's just worth it for me. I've used them on my 2.5 without any problems. Another reason I like them is because they are actually about 3/8" longer than the stock ones, so they provide a little more filtration, while still having the same diameter and fitment. But thats all just for my benefit; I generally prefer the longer filters (after having an engine replaced for sludge (under warranty thankfully) you kinda like the extra filtration) plus while its longer, it still clears the wheel-well panel you have to remove to get to it.

Well, if you just freaking look at the OEM one you can pretty much tell that K&N is better than that... but really, I think its a bit overpriced, even though i use it. I've used Bosh on the Sequoia and its alrite.

Oil has gotta be Royal Purple tho. I use 5w in the summer and 10w in the winter.

That makes no sense at all - why would you use an oil less apt for cold weather in the winter?

A lot of you guys are giving input but not backing it up like LinkNuc was saying... I'm not disagreeing or saying any of you are wrong, but just interested as well as to why you guys think one brand is better than the other.

Did you bother to read the site I posted? I basically says you'd be better off using a piece of cardboard than a Fram filter...and it helps to flair out the differences between many of the filters used today...I figured I'd let the site talk for itself, but apparently that's not good enough...
