FYI - I just re-checked with Borla today and got the same response from them that I got 3 months ago regarding availability. Here is their response...

I have checked around for a lead time for you and I have been told this system is not going to be ready for another 60-90 days.

Thanks

Perhaps if we get enough people to send Tim inquiries they will bump up the production schedule for these.

Hi all,

Just thought I'd let you know, we did bump up the production priority of our Altima Coupe systems.

Thank you for your interest, comments, phone calls, & emails! We know how important it is to listen to what our customers have to say, and hear you loud & clear. The system will be released shortly. Thanks again for your interest & have a good one.

Hi glozaeta, thanks for your interest. As it stands, our Altima sedan applications extend through the 2005 model year. We have not received as much interest in the sedan as we have for the coupe, so there are no current plans to develop it.

I'll gladly buy a borla today if you had another prototype lying around for some testing……

I trust it will have a good portion of 300 series stainless and none of this 400 series, surface rust prone material. So may companies just make the muffler and the tip out of 309.

Correct, we make our systems solely from Austenitic Stainless Steel, as opposed to others who make their systems out of milder Ferritic stainless steel. The Ferritic s.s. is what is more prone to coloring and rusts quickly. Here's a link that might help explain the differences...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stainless_steel

Thanks W.W.!

Aslo, thanks to everyone who helped build interest and anticipation for this system. A special thanks go to Addidas2Go for allowing us to use his ride and a prototype.

As a result, we're happy to announce we have now released our Altima rear-section! It's referenced as Borla Part# 11762. Give us a call at 1-877-GO-BORLA or email me if you're interested. Thanks again & have a good one. - Chris
