What years were there body style changes? Also, were they significant changes? Can newer front ends be bolted to older ones, and vice versa? What years did they change wheel styles? Any help on all this would be greatly appreciated. ;)

S13 89-90 had a SOHC motor, came in came in coupe and fastback, had "pignose" front bumper, and hubcaps.S13 91 changed to a DOHC motor, came in coupe, and fastback, new front bumper, allow wheels.S13 92-93 was available in convertable tooS13 94 was only available in convertable.

S14 95-96 (zenki) had rounder headlights than the 97-98 (kouki). both only came as coupes. not sure about wheels.

S14's are 4 cm wider than S13, so bolting an S14 front end on a S13 will be a pain. people commonly do S15 conversions though. search to find out more about that.

s14 base had 15" hubcaps, 15" alloys, or 16" 5spoke alloys.

who here refers to the 97 and 98 models as the s14a? I thought it was a common refrence.

Is there any way to make the 93's look like a 95' or newer, specifically the front end? :help

Actually, wouldn't that be an S13-S14 conversion? S15 is the 98+ Jap Silvias.

you might be able to get a hold of some stuff for an s14 conversion. That might get just as pricey. That link is for a Japanese S15, they weren't sold here. If you want your car to look newer, you are probaly better off buying a newer s14... I persanolly love the s13 style, but whatever..

I emailed him for some pictures of his conversion from the s14 to either the s14a or the s15. When/if i get some I will post some examples of their work.

You will NOT find much in a junkyaard because most newer cars that are there have their fronts smashed in. And obviously the s15 isnt in north america so that might be a tough one ;)

I just want my 93' to look like a 95' or newer North American 240SX. I think the front end and headlights have a much cleaner, rounder look to them. ;)
