I have a 89 nissan 240sx with 180k on it, well here it is i was trying to start the car after work and it would not. .funny thing is i had full power..when i tried to start it i heard no click no nothing i tracked it down to a blue connector. It had of course nissan on it a few numbers that dont match anything i have found and 12V on the side of it. And on top of it it had th numbers 1 and 2 between those was coil line. .and 3 and 5 had the symbol of a open circuit. I unplugged the 3 to 5 connector and looped the circuit and it started right up i want to find the connector so i can replace asap do guys have any clue what it is thanks. I hope i have gave enough info if you guys need more i will go and find them out thanks.

your problem is not necessarily the interlock relay. it could be the interlock switch on the clutch pedal. you close the switch when you depress the clutch pedal. this sends ground to the interlock relay which allows interlock relay to close its switch. the switch is the more common problem.

you are bypassing the interlock relay so your car will start without the clutch depressed. put the relay back and bypass the clutch switch or inspect the clutch switch to see if it is broken. the relays dont die very often. or test the relay. give it ground and positive aND Listen for click.
