I blew my woofer today. Changed songs on ipod and volume was up too high. Anyone replace the woofed on their G? I'm assuming any aftermarket isn't going to work with the Bose.

If you have a coupe, you can do this:

Though, even with a Sedan, you could probably find something similar. However, be careful not to choose a replacement speaker that will be underpowered by the OE amp as you can damage the speaker by doing so.

I know a lot of you have replaced the stock system. Would any of you want to sell the stock woofer?

I would just use this opportunity to replace the stock "woofer" with something better. The aftermarket speakers really aren't that expensive.

Do you have any suggestions? If I replace, I don't want some huge sub in my trunk. I'm pretty active and that is like my locker room. I would like to replace the stock without losing trunk space.

Sure, use the low-budget fix! No external amp needed.

Now if you want more bass, then you'll have to install a Sub. JL makes a hide-away model that doesn't use much trunk space at all.
