Block heater a bit of an after thought?

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

So the car comes with a block heater which is nice since it can get quite cold here. Problem is A) they zip tied the cord so I had to cut it out and B) once I cut it out I realize there wasn't any provisioning for actually storing the cord.

There is nothing to attach the cord to although it comes with these plastic clips on it that looks like they fit into holes to hold the cord in place. Only found 1 hole that fits and it wasn't in the right place.

So in the end I have to zip tied the cord back inside, in a different position but still it's zip ties. I can't take cord out and put cord back easily. Would it really have been such a problem for nissan to provide a strap or something like that inside the engine bay to secure the cord when not in use?

It just seems like they went "ok we'll add the block heater for cars going to Canada" and then stop thinking.
