Blinkers wont work on 02 Frontier

I engage the blinker and it flashes once and stops. Sometimes it will flash and sometimes it wont. Same thing with the hazards. Is this the turn signal/flasher unit thats causing the problem? or the relay? Or are those one and the same?

Do you have a trailer light connection? That's the usual source of brake/tail/signal problems on trucks. Very possible that something is shorted out... Otherwise, I would look to the flasher module.
