Black Altima Coupe 08 Body Stickers?

I have a black Altima Coupe with these black stickers on the bottom left near both rear wheel wells. Anyone know if this is from the factory or something? Maybe to prevent pebbles kicking up and causing damage?

I haven't really taken a hard look at other Coupes i've seen around.

Those are from the factory. They are ment to prevent rocks and other debris from messing up the paint in those areas. Many people take them off. They don't bother me so why take them off I said.

yea, i have those too on my car. i'm thinking i wanna take them off because they're starting to yellow. And well, it doesnt look too snazzy on my white coupe.

The white coupes seems to frequently have problems with that clear patch yellowing...
