I've just finished up a massive project with my 350Z and came up with some items that I think others may be interested in. The pictures below show the custom billet aluminum timing covers I designed and fabbed up for my engine. I just found the OEM steel covers too hideous and expensive for what they are (Nissan charges about $80 a piece for them!), so I went this route. I wanted to post here on the forum and see how much interest there would be from other members if I were to start making a bunch of these things. If I can find at least 20 buyers, I'm estimating the price to be about $275 per set. This would include a clear anodizing (these shown are not), and the large cover would have a pointer to replicate the OEM timing mark. At this price, I wouldn't be able to do a custom engraving, but could do something generic like "VQ35" or whatever most people like.
Please let me know if you like them!
