I fried an ECU when replacing it without disconnecting the battery.Anyway, it just takes...what, 30 seconds or so....Just to be safe.I think that the ECU always have power even with the car off.Great post, just wanted to add this precaution step.

will this work on the ODB II ECUs b/c some 95 240 are ODB I.

ok so im kinda lost. i know cars and about 240's but what exactly is this board? is it a piggyback hardwired in. or just a safc type deal. kinda interested. sorry to seem like a newb

they're website doesnt exactly say what it does and what you can do with it. what exactly can you tune and modify?
