BIG DAY FOR LBC, FINALLY GOT A JOB!

Hey guys, most of you who have been around since last year know my situation to some extent...

In august, my investment bank closed up, I was a partner there.. and since then I havent been able to find a job that I have any real interest in...

Ive gone on many interviews to either find out I am over qualified, under qualified or that the job isnt something I am interested in.

Around a month ago that had changed, I went in for an interview at CHASE and I liked what I saw... Went on a 2nd... then a 3rd... and finally a 7th interview...(nuts right?!)....

And today I woke up to a call from their recruiter offering me the job!

I start on June 29th.

I wont be able to police the forums 24hrs a day the way I usually do (but you guys are much better at keeping things organized and civil than you used to) so I ask that you please just try and give me a break.

I will be working long hrs and the last thing I want to do is come home and have to start moving threads to their right sections.

LBC is happy today!

Sith... As for now it has to be their "personal banker" position because I dont have any experience working in a physical retail bank, after I earn my stripes there (6-18 months based on availability) I will be able to move into some more interesting things where I can use my experience.

Congrats Man! Long Deserved Break! Don't worry about the forums...First thing you need to do though when you get to your office is sit down and open up a browser. I'm betting you can get to the site. If so, you can still keep the hounds at bay Again..Congrats!

Well, if they say you have to move out to Morgan Chase...I can show you around. Chase has a financial branch maybe 15 miles from my house that employs...maybe 10,000 to 15,000...nothing that would rival anything in Manhatten...but that is a ton of people none the less.

CONGRATS though! 4 weeks till that first paycheck!!!

Thanks fellas!

I am actually working under 2 miles away from my house! 750ft from where the BBQ is this weekend!

There are some training days in NYC though, I will hit you up Toxik and we can meet up.

I will be there for atleast a year, then possibly moving to another location somewhere on long island.... I prefer NOT to work in NYC unless I have to, I like driving and it would make me sad to have to pay for a $250 monthly train ticket and have to sit with schnooks on the train instead of in the AC!
