I have been wanting to lower my car for a while but I am not 100% positive on what set to gethttp://www.autoanything.com/su....aspxThat is the only real option I have seen as I do not want coil overs and I don't want to have to install a skid plate because I'm 2cm from the ground

Anyone have good suggestions for lowering springs? I reallly am trying to find a progressive rate spring set because of how my friend's car turned out with them (comfortable DD but lean into a corner and the car is stiff as hell

USA sales only please (Ive seen a lot of Canadian owners here)

Eibach, Tanabe, or others would be fine.

I would go here with the Tanabe since they are a little cheaper and are bascially the same or maybe a little better than the Eibach:http://www.shop.versaspeed.com...Id=11

Not to thread jack but I was wondering if we need to replace our struts with better ones when lowering our Versa's???

We have pretty rough roads here in Quebec, that's why I'm asking if the stock struts will handle a 1.5" drop...

Currently there are no available upgrades for shocks, except on the coilovers. But no one has had issues so far with stock shocks on lowering springs.

The only way to really lower your car (2" or more) is with coilovers. If you are just getting aftermarket springs, you risk messing up the ride/handling because the springs may be too stiff and the shocks/struts too soft (probable) or the reverse, springs soft and shocks/struts too stiff (only possibly). The coilovers (usually) are developed to work together and also give you the most adjustment. You could also cut or bend your springs which is really If you are buying the coilovers from a competent professional, they will ask your planned use and give you the correct spring rates and shock/stut settings, which there are many...just go to any spring site (eibach, H&R, etc) and see the many different spring rates, heights etc. If you think coilovers are too expensive, figure the price based on how many miles you will use them with a smile vs a frown (cost/miles). $1000/50,000 miles...at 2 cents per mile I think you can afford them.
