So i was looking around on the internet today. I look around at other types of cars (import demestic, SUv, lowrider) because i like to be pretty well rounded. maybe bring in ideas from other areas. . . anywaysi was wondering if i could build a sand rail (RWD dune buggy, usually 2 seater with paddle tires) with a KA24DE? wouldnt that be pimp-tacular? the only prob is the electrical components. most (almost all) ive seen are not fuel injected. what are the minimun number of sensors i need? also is there a way to mount the KA in the back? someone help. im trying to see how easy/ how much this would cost. any ideas guys?

Thats pretty damn crazy but I would think the easiest thing to do would be to use the FWD ka24de from the altima and mount it on the bacl.

You are talking about weldin up a tubular steel frame from scratch.. custom mounting, fabrication of all sorts, and you cant rig up some shift linkage? =)

It WOULD be pretty darn cool, I think I would go with the fwd engine though too...I used to really want to build a dune buggy but I doubt it'll ever happen, its not like there is much sand around here! (dallas/denton)

I thought of doing this with a 250-500cc dirt bike motor. Make it RHD with a lexan body. Im still thinking it out all the way.
