A bent Wheel on the outside will have a wobble to it while rotating, also with a bent wheel your car will vibrate at certain speeds. A bent strut will wear your tire out unevenly by changing the camber caster rating on your front end. Also a bent strut my have a knocking noise or a strong pull either to the left or the right depending on which side of the vehicle has the bad strut.

You sometimes will hear a loud popping sound after hitting a bump in the road an that to may be an indication of a bad strut.

Please if you can describe the problem you are having so we may be able to help. If your vehicle is experiencing any of these problems take it into the dealership to be investigated.

*EDIT* ^^beat me to the punch.

A bent wheel would give a rhythmic vibration/shaking to the steering wheel that increases with vehicle speed. A bent strut would probably throw off your front end steering alignment causing the vehicle to pull to one side or the other.
