Recently purchased a G37x, exterior color Lakeshore Slate and interior leather color Wheat. Have noticed marks from my belt on the lower portion of the driver's seat back. Very little luck removing them. Grateful for any suggestions. Thanks.

My piping on my 08xs is wearing excessively.

boba -

I had the same thing on my 95 Q45.

Believe it or not, I tried everythnig to remove it. Finally tested brake cleaner (yes, I know, harsh). It worked, though.

Make SURE you have a lot of leather cleaner and conditioner to use afterwards, and test it in an inconspicuous area to make sure it doesn't discolor the leather.

Worked great for me, but be careful. Spray a little on a piece of cloth and scrub LIGHTLY. Clean and condition thoroughly afterwards.

Hi,Piping is fine. These marks are on the seat backs an inch or so in from the edge. Worse ones are on the left and right side of the seat back although there are traces where you belt would be against the seat back all across the back.

Hi,Thanks for the suggestion. I thought if I got to it early and kept at it, I could remove it. Tried Lexol, Maguires Gold Coast ? leather cleaner and something called CPR leather cleaner which works wonderfully on leather furniture but did nothing on this.Bob
