This is my kind of thread.

I love Stella Artois. My sister was a sundance a while ago and said there was a Stella tent full of free tasties.

My fave Canadian beer is Sapporo.

Busch now has a decent ale that is better on the wallet then some others.

Now is the season for pumpkin spice beers.

My favorite 3 beers were just posted! In no order:Stella- its just... perfect. Prefered in bottles andnot tap.Leinenkugel- Superior in many ways to other 'flavor' beers.Hoegaarden- will buy on rare occasion because I have an ex with an overzealous sister who is all kinds of pretentious and drank soley that beer. Unfortunately, she did have good taste in beer.

As for another favorite- Sieira Nevada- tasty little buggers. 3-4 get me half way cocked these days.

Sapporo is most definitely Japanese.

I've always been a big fan of Newcastle, regardless of the typically low alcohol content of English beers. Boddington's is another great ale, even though I like the darker kind. One of our local brewers, Bell's, has many great beers that I have been drinking as well.

Another local brewer named Dragonmead has a Belgian Trippel named Final Absolution, which is just ****ing awesome, and has a 10% alcohol content. They brew a Grand Cru which is almost 12%. That's a great place to go to when you want to get ****ed up.

Well, Japanese owned, but brewed in Canada. Well for the North American market that is. I never really liked Sapporo. Makes my stomach feel funny.. don't know what that's about. I like Kirin better IMHO.

Last beer I had was Dogfish Head Raison D'Etre; my favorite at the moment. I drink pretty rarely but my bf and friends are beer snobs (not a bad thing IMO) and like trying new stuff.

My favorite beer? Quadruple and also triple ale's. There are a few breweries, Ommegang in NY, Avery in Boulder, and Boulevard in KC that make some mighty fine triple and quads (and I'm sure there are more). My favorite being the Sixth Glass in the Smoke Stack series by Boulevard.http://www.boulevard.com/index.cfm

Delicious, flavorful, and sweet quad with no tricks or surprises. Just a well brewed quad that's smooth enough to go with a variety of foods.

Also a brewery here in Topeka, Blind Tiger, makes an IPA called Top Gun, that's pretty good for an IPA. It's only on tap and is limited edition.

Support your local breweries!

there is a local brewery in colorado springs that also has an interesting beer i like called 'blonde on nitro'

its a light beer with nitrogen in it so when poured it does the whole guinness 'waterfall' thing.... and it tastes almost like cream soda

If you like nitro beers try cutthroat nitro porter from o'dells. It's fantastic.

Sapporo is a Japanese Brand, but is Brewed and canned in Canada, therefore making it a Canadian made beer in turn Sapporo is a Canadian Beer. My Logic.

Oh and Silver can all the way, the brown glass bottles make me cry.

I went to Milwaukee with my girl and we went to Mo's Irish Pub and I had Smithwicks most of the night, but then had a Lady Chambord(Hard Apple Cider like Strongbow or Woodchuck with a shot of Chambord) and I don't remember everything after that.

Oh and I went to a BierGarten and my Friend and his dad ordered Nostradamus and I made a joke that he would get drunk and then predict the future. There were three other people joining us and were late and he said, " they will be here in 15mins" and he was dead right.

Already said that I personally don't like it, it gives me a headache/stomach-ache. I've tried just about all of them except for that one with the Owl on it, and I think Kirin is the best. If there are any others available state-side someone let me know.

I have 5 of those sitting in my fridge unopened. To me they had a licorice taste to them and I HATE that. I prefer Blue Moon as my beer of choice and make it a point to try every wheat beer I can find.

I found a tasty beer at a beer festival recently... plus it's fun to ask for! I need to see if I can find it locally.

For everyday drinking it's gotta be Alexander Keith's (Red). It's a Canadian beer that's actually brewed in Canada!I asked for it a couple of years ago when I went to a Chili's in Ft. Lauderdale......the waitress just looked at me funny.

Leinie Sunset Wheat! That's my fav.. Tastes like blueberries or fruity pebbles I even have a Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat glass!

You can mix it with the Leinenkugel's Berry Weiss or with the Honey Weiss for a different taste. (It's recommended on the website) I REALLY like the "Sunny Bear" as the website calls it, Sunset Wheat mixed with Berry Weiss. Berry Weiss by itself is a little too sweet though IMO. But it's pink! In the summer, when it's available, Summer Shandy is delicious as well. Really tastes like lemonade beer.

Sorry, I'm obsessed with these beers and I got a little over excited when I saw this thread..
