Been driving the Honda

Got the fender painted this weekend and I've done my super/duper clean up on the interior. I thought....what the hay???? 24 mpg on regular....I'll drive the Honda. It really is a hoot to drive and a cute little car. The 140 horsepower just really isn't much of a thrill though. I think tomorrow it is back to the Z.

Getting close. That is why I have been driving it. Took it this weekend and had a guy paint/pinstripe the fender and he wet sanded the whole car. It looks pretty good.

I now have 3 of the 4 lights that were on on the dash off. The check engine/low fuel/oil change/ABS lights were all on when I regained possesion. All I have left to get off is the ABS. My son said the wire was damaged in the accident. Hopefully that won't cost me much. So far I'm $1800 into it. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrg.

I brought it up here yesterday because a man I work with might buy it. He does a lot of traveling and has a Suburban. The cosmetic flaws mean nothing to him. It drives like a brand new car.

It was nice to be back in the Z this morning though. Ahhhh! Horsepower rocks.

I had the daughter hit a curb in the sedan while going through a fast food restaurant. At first I thought it was just paint loss on the lower side sills that you can't really see but I've since notices she has curbed both of the 19" sport wheels on that side (the ones from my coupe). I was/am not a happy camper about it. Going to cost $150 to have them fixed.....not going to do it until she gets her own car and can pay to have my rims fixed. Time for her to get a job.

Not as bad as your situation with the Honda but annoying nonetheless.

Yeah, and don't forget. I still owe Allstate $1600 for the car that she hit.



I could have made some really nice mods to the Z for the money I have pissed away.

I'd say she owes you 1600.....or you just chalk it up and hope she does not put you in a nursing home when you get old.

Yeah, due to health reasons my dad was in and out of homes while getting care and I know for a fact that I would not want to live in a nursing home.

My BFF and I have a pact. When we get to that stage, we are buying a case of Grey Goose and going to a beach and drinking ourselves to death. What a way to go.
