I'm getting a BCI Malfunction error on the dashboard.

The following DTCs are present

C1143 ST ANG SEN CIRCUIT
C1A04 ABS/TCS/VDC CIRC
C1A39 STRG SEN CIR
U0428 ST ANGLE SENSOR CALIBRATION

Sounds like your Steering Angle Sensor has a corrupt memory or an internal malfunction. Try an SAS calibration, if that doesn't help then you probably need a new one.

I tried the calibration and went from one DTC to four. Anything special about the replacement outside of calibration?

Not if you already know how to remove the wheel and clockspring and not screw up the clockspring. The SAS is right behind it, IIRC clipped on as an assembly. Make sure the road wheels are straight before popping the wheel, and I usually masking-tape the clockspring to make sure it doesn't spin anywhere during removal.
