There's nothing that needs a repro on a gen3. On earlier models you needed to reeducate the power windows and sunroof and restore the radio presets, but to my knowledge there's never been any Nissan which required an actual "reprogram" of any module. Configs and preferences on gen3's are all stored in non-volatile memory (flash or EEP). That isn't to say people don't do dumb stuff like making big sparks when changing batteries, which can definitely trash configs and even corrupt main programs. But that is what it is, Darwin works.
That all said, flat rate for a battery replacement is almost universally 30 minutes. However, virtually all dealers charge an hour for diagnosis, and with the newest Nissan battery tester, the DCA-8000, that isn't unreasonable. Not that I'm knocking the DCA (affectionately known as R2D2), it's an excellent unit that almost never gives us a false analysis. The downside is, I'd say a typical setup and diagnostic charge probably takes 40 minutes. Much longer if the battery has minor sulfation or stratified electrolyte requiring the tester to try to boil it back to health. Then, for the battery warranty to be valid, Nissan makes us run another analysis on the new battery. In most instances, that's what you're paying the extra hour for.
