Heat gun/blow dryer and fishing line. Take your time, use lots of heat...and for god sakes don't try to pry them off.

I didn't bother with heating it up and I had no problems. Make sure you use some kind of wax where the badges were after they have been removed.

I tried Dental Floss and found it difficult/time consuming.

I then tried Petro Points (Credit) Cards, it was Easy & Fast. I used Meguiar's Wax Cleaner to clean it up.

It is just some double stick tape...I pulled it off and then used the meguires cleaner wax as stated below. Super simple and no mess.

easy! I did it today actually

1) Take any dental floss and loop it over 4 times so you basically have 4 strands of dental floss inbetween your fingers2) use a hairdryer to heat up a letter of the badge or the whole badge itself if you work fast3) Go under the silver part of the letter and use a "saw" like motion4) Remove tape after silver part is off5) Clean with water and soap6) Use something to take off the stickiness if there is any (I used goo gone - worked great) - Remember to wash it off 7) Wax area (I used Ice liquid wax)

hair dryer and heat gun are not needed. just use dental floss in a saw like motion and try to get betweent the badge and the glue, not the glue and the car. when the badge comes free just rub the glue with your finger and it comes right up.removing the 3.5se and altima badge should take less than 5 minutes.

easy for you to say texan lol - it's a bit colder up here and the hairdryer definitely makes things a bit easier!

i did mine removal in mid february.. here in NY.. and it was freezing.. it came off with ease... with just smooth glide dental floss.. do it in a flossing or saw like motion thru the back of each letter or emblem.. and the emblem should come right off..

i used turtle wax bug off to clean up!

Good to know when I get my coupe. I think it looks very clean with just the Nissan logo on the back.

mine just came right off. no floss no heat gun just a slight wiggle and pull. then the 3m tape peeled of the car with no problems. maybe it was the climate or weather who knows but yea I had no problems at all.

lol shrug! I tried getting the silver part off with just floss at first and it was pretty difficult - floss kept breaking into smaller strands. Then I got a hairdryer and did it and it was significantly easier. IMO getting the hair dryer was worth the 2 minutes of walking upstairs and getting it. But if you guys can do it without the hairdryer the more power to you!

...Bembol, I know you took that pic up on the top level of the parking garage at Brampton Civic Hospital....lol... always wanted to take pics on that top level, but since it was winter I never had a nice day to take them...maybe I'll take some now that the weather is looking better....infact we should get together and take pics of both of them....we don't even have to pay for parking man,its free if you're 15 mins or less....I'm sure we can do that....it'll be nice to take pics of the 2.5 and 3.5 side by side with the same color!

What would be the best way to get the dealer sticker off? It isn't an emblem or made of plastic - it almost looks like it is painted on.. Do I have to scrape it off? or can I use some kind of cleaner to dissolve it?

No point in debadging my car if I still have that part on hehe

It's probably a decal you can just peel off

jeez I just went outside for a closer look - I was hoping it was a decal like you suggested but it is actually a separate sticker for each letter - guess I will try a hairdryer..

I shave my head though so it looks like I will have to go buy a hairdryer just for this

haha yeah...wait isn't that a decal? It should come right off with some finger picking and I don't know if the hairdryer's going to help - someone else want to chime in?

floss is all you need, especially if your vehicle sat out in the sun...the glue should be soft enough

There is no way to get the floss under these stickers though.. I think I will just soften it up a bit with the dryer then slowly pick them off. Once I get them off successfully, then I will get rid of the silver Altima/2.5S letters with floss.

I like the power washer idea though
