Just de-badge my A/C................I used a bit of goo-gone then instead of floss I used a light fishing line. it was like a warm knife cutting through butter...... in other words very easy then I finished up with a polish and wax.

Since everyone was talkin about it I spontaneously chose to take mine off. Just got done like 5min ago, and I am definitly happy I did, it looks so much better! took off the altima, 3.5, SE, and V-6 and left the NISSAN logo on. looks goooooooood

I like the power washer idea though
Any update on how those came off? Mine has those same type of dealer stickers.. WTH were they thinking.. added pinstripes and that.. and wanna charge me to take it off, sheesh Oh well, still love my car haha.

i tell the dealership before i buy the car "do not put those stupid dealership stickers on there!!!!" so they dont cause i told them i would not take delivery with them on there. and as we were driving back in the dealership from gassing it up the manager was yelling to my salesman to put a dealer sticker on it.....i was like hell no you better not come anywhere near my coupe with that crap!! anyways, im trying to decide if i wanna take my decals off or not. i saw the first red coupe on post today other than mine and the only difference was that he has the sunroof deflector and no spoiler....... so i wanna make mine a lil more different

It looks hot with the 3.5 and Altima badges removed and the Nissan badge remaining.

I have quick question... What's the point of removing the 3.5 and Altima Badge? Just curious to know what the deal with it is. It might seem like a stupid question, but I just want to know.

It's a preference thing.. all my lettering on the rear is still on atm. Some people like the look of a de-badged car.

I'm honestly still in the air about it.

Our ride debadged (especially fully debagded) would turn a bunch of heads and really make people guess what the hell they are seeing... Although, people are already surprised & confused as to what we are driving already -- even with my badges on

So true. This is why I am still up in the air as well.

I think I'm going to leave mine on... I want those that know the difference between 2.5 + 3.5 to know I have a 3.5

I like the dash of chrome and life it gives to the rear of the vehicle. Perhaps if bluebatmobile makes those new GTR tailight tints like the doc is speccing out I may just need to remove the badges to totally confuse the hell out of everyone and anyone.

i just got my coupe back from the shop (was getting my rear bumper/trunk fixed), i came in a little early while they were pollishing it up and noticed it was completely debadged. I just asked the mechanic to leave it debadged.... looks very clean now.

dental floss doesnt work to remove the nissan emblem. i dont think its glued on. the other letters were easy to remove but the emblem...not so easy. need to know from someone who really has done it themelves.

actually it is just glued on, just like all the other badges. no holes left behind. dental floss ftw!

I used heat, but single ply floss kept breaking on the burger. Ended up using two twisted-pair = 4ply FTW.

Fishing line will def work better then dental floss...the floss kept breaking but it got tha job done...nd for tha glue residue it simply peeled off

I just finished Debadging mine...it doesn't take much work at all. The hair dryer/heat gun isn't really necessary..just used the dental floss and "sawed" it off...came off without much problem at all. Took about 5 minutes to do. Easy clean up as well =D

This worked just fine for me, too. I am in Texas, but my car is garaged and I did it with the floss, soap and water and bug and tar remover wax. Removed all of them. I tell everyone I shaved my rear.

I'm with you, Max. Except that I'm torn between that and the clean look of a de-badged trunk.
