My 1990 S13 runs strong with its KA motor, but at about 40MPH when i let off the gas usually the car starts to shake violently, most noticable thru the wheel and shifter. Any ideas what is causing this? Im guessing either the suspension that took a hit prior to me owning it, or the oil back flow restrictor.

how would i check out my tie rods, im pretty low on funds being a student so most of the work on the car i end up doing in my driveway. probably right on the tie rods though since it seems to come mostly from the front left wheel.
