Bad service

i finally bought the new tires I needed to pass inspection (my appointment is tomorrow and i have to pay $120 more so this guy pretends not to notice my tints ) and today (three days later) i notice that i am missing one lug nut on each of my rear rims. I don't know whether they were on right after the tires were put on, or if i lost them before, or if they were put on and i lost them during these three days. Either way, i went straight to ebay to buy myself two lug nuts. However, ebay chooses not to sell just two, but instead in sets which were way out of my price range. Then i stumbled upon these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...1wt_0 and figure they will do the trick AND prevent my future rims from the possibility of being stolen. Wondering if you guys have something like this and what you guys think. Thanks a lot

My '08 Z came with one of these on each wheel. The special socket was in the glove box behind the passenger seat. Seems like a good idea to me considering that a set of factory Z rims run around $2200.

as for tint just roll your windows down. sorry officer what seams to be the problem? here in ny the back window can be as dark as i want.so all long as mine are rolled down. . I think my smoked tails are illegal too. for that sorry officer i didn't know i couldn't do that.

ive been pulled over five times, two of them being in my Z. No tickets, and never got one complaint about the tints. However, the DMV won't give me a sticker with tints so i had to find this private guy. Also, r350, in NY tints are legal up to 50%, and in ANY state the rear window can be any percent tinted and in ANY state the windshield can't be tinted at all. I dont care about cops, i care about getting a stupid little sticker so i don't have to pay a 200 dollar fine.

just roll the windows down when u go for inspection done deal. ive never been pulled over knock on wood and i have blew past cops did one today 63 in a 30. it was a am amazing road lost of nice curves and turns. lets review illegal tint, excessive speeding, illegal taillights 3 dead squirrels since sunday and my bank got robbed. and still nothin on me as far as cops knock on wood my sister is on like here 5th ticket.

its not a done deal bc that is what i did when i went for inspection and they just rolled them right up and put a pretty little pink rejected sticker on my windshield. I might just have to take them off for inspection and then throw them back on.

why don't you go to your local parts store and buy 2 lug nuts? most parts store or even a wheel shop will sell them indivisually, heck even the dealer but they will likely charge 2 or 3 times as much, the parts stores and wheels shops might not be a perfect maatch, and if you want locking lugs, the dealer, andparts stores as well as local wheel shops all sell them, for abotu what they are being sold for on ebay, have people forgotten how to go to the parts store?
