I was looking at Robert's thread

zerothread?id=294115

and according to him the red/blue wire is for the backup lights. However, when i hooked up the camera to red/blue and black for negative. It didn't work when i back up. I tried to turn on my headlights and it worked. Does anyone know which wire it is?

Johnny, it depends on the camera! The red/blue wire is the reverse light wire. meaning the voltage will change when you switch to reverse. There is a wire on the Avic D3 that this needs to be connected to. The power and ground for the rear view camera was a different thing alltogether! Tat needs to be connected to a continuously supplied power source, and for that, you ill need to connect it to a fuse in the fuse box on the driver side! Then just connect the negative to the chassis!
