So I am beginning to plan out my exhaust build and wanted to get you guys advice before I begin collecting the parts I will need. I am planning on the M2 headers and downpipe with the Megan Racing midpipe. I was either going to bolt it up to the stock exhaust or use the Tanabe medalion touring axleback. Basically I want to get the most performance for the least amount of noise. Also, I would consider cutting the midpipe and welding another resonator if need be. Let me know what you think and does anyone out there have any experience with the M2 header/downpipe throwing codes because of the cat delete? Anyway let me know

Many people have had issues with the cat delete throwing codes. It purely depends on the Sequence identification of the Lower o2 sensors. Meaning some of the earlier o2 sensors work, but the newer revised o2's don't. To fix this, you need to space the lower o2 sensors with spacers. 42002's. cost about $10 in total at the high end.

As for most performance with the least noise, i recommend a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler, and nothing larger then 2.5" piping.

Ya the piping is 2.5 so that shouldn't be an issue. I don't know what you mean by 42002's. I think I saw a similar thread where you described your exhaust set-up and it is similar to what you are recommending. Are you running a resonator or high flow cat?
