Hello i am new to this forum so if i do something wrong let me know. I was a member of myspecv before it closed and I have just bummed around ever sense looking for a forum that has a decent amount of b16 owners. I think this might be the place.

I have an 09 Sentra SER and i have been looking into modding. I already have the k&n intake and i am looking into exhaust, pulley, eyelids, and possibly valves.

My questions are...1.What pulley do you recommend and how involved is the install?2.How are the Fibre Customs eyelids attached and are there any other eyelid options that you know of?3.What kinds of gains would i get from the WRP oversized valves, what effects would they have on milage, and how involved is the install?4.What exhaust do you like?

Greetings. There are a few B16 owners here, and alot on another site, you might be able to figure out with some ease. NICO rules say i cant send you else where.

Anyway.....

1) Both the Stillen and UR and WRP are nearly the same. No actual gains on a Dyno, however faster rate of rpm climb, can still be considered a good thing. Very easy to do with even the most basic tools, though i highly recommend u replace the Original Equipment belt with a new belt like a GoodYear Gaterback.

2) Fibre Custom eyelids are double stick taped to hold them on. Some people just make vinyl one's or even paint them on. Your choice.

3)I highly dont recommend WRP for issues with MSV... I have 1mm oversized valves, no gains, unless you intend to boost. I have them, because im testing a Supercharger for another company, as part of a Future kit.

4) I perfer a custom exhaust over the overpriced cat backs available. You can Custom make an exhaust, including the M2 header, midpipe, resonator, muffler, tip and all the other piping needed, mandrel bent, for cheaper then most catbacks.

Im using a cherry bomb 32" long resonator, Magnaflow High flow cat, and a dynamax super turbo muffler and stock tip, only cost me $150 in parts and another $75 installed.

Dj, how wide is the diameter from the OEM exhaust line, is it 2.25"?

I have a borla 2.5" muffler and a Vibrant 2.5 resonator from my previous car so I want to know if I can fit them into my Spec V. Is it possible to weld from the OEM 2.25" line to the 2.5" muffler and resonator?

Best Regards,

Best Regards,
You are correct, it is 2.25 inch. And yes you can weld a 2.25 inch diameter to a 2.50 inch. I recommend though to either upsize your exhaust pipe so everything flows together, or if you really want to keep stock piping size, to use a 2.25" to 2.50" adapter pipes. Oddly enough, most Premade Catbacks for our cars is 3" diameter.
