So how many people have had problems with the motor mount in their B16? Has Nissan addressed the issue? I'm just looking for more information about it...

Yep, just replaced my 2007 Sentra motor mount two weeks ago. All the wacky noises are gone now. It idles smoother too. It was out of warranty so the part cost $160. Easy to replace though.

If you're in warranty, it's covered.

first im hearing about motor mount issues, what was the problem?

I took the time early last year to poly fill mine. Not as stiff as i would like, but cost effective nonetheless.

hrm..... There have been only 2 cases of motor mount failures at my dealership, and they have only been on the 2.0L. Ive never heard of a failure on the 2.5l.

Im gonna have to do some research on this.

I meant what years are affected, reason for failure, has the design changed for newer years. Should I expect my 2010 2.0 to break.

It looks to be a failure from the motor mount twisting from engine movement, in realation to the opposed parrellel brace.

As if the mount is twisting as oppsed to equally moving back and forth with applied torque.
