B13 ga16de Sentra clutch issues

i just swapped transmissions on my sentra, i took it down the road and the shifter was moving all around, so i thought to myself, the linkage must me messed up so i fixed it

but the clutch feels stiff in the petal to me, and if we adjust it it messes up, if we go any looser it wont go into gear and if we tighten it it will slip

help?

The pedal is going to feel stiff until you can break the new clutch in. You had X number of miles on the old pressure plate so it was worn, therefore, easier to push. The new on isn't worn, therefore, harder to push.
