OH, and another thing.

the eclipse GST is faster than the GSX and handles almost as well. stick that in you pipe and smoke it. AWD is good for rally and launches, after that it is pretty much dead weight

I wish we got the GT4, but the all tracs were nice though, bulletproof 3SGTE:D

Yup, mod for mod, a GST will hand a GSX its *** on the highway as well as at the track. Why do you think real drag car dont use awd. Plus my stock 240 with J30 LSD launched even with my friends 91 AWD (before he bent the valves) but then his boost took over and all I saw was his taillights a mile down the road.

I love the FP BIG RED, one of my DSM friends had it in his fully built 92 talon awd. It was good enough for him to run consistent 10 second passes until the car crank walked:rolleyes

Nismo...exactly as you said...it doesn't matter what turbo u run...if you don't have things that back that turbo up, it def won't last long...

this guy is full of s h i t....i can tell cuz he's immature. all he knows is AWD, AWD, AWD...who gives a damn... he's probably got 2 chrome NAWWWS bottles in the back too.. (just for off the line purposes) of course.

typical DSM attitude, wow, hes got a ****ty second gen, not even a first gen. <--the good DSMs

DSMs are heavy, prone to breaking, and parts are expensive as hell. why brag about it? 300, big deal, 300 and a 3500 pound weight with driver is worth ****. second gen motor just suck. period. i have respect for the cars, id like to build one up for rally purposes, but thats about it.

now, subarus, woopty freakin do, i love the cars, but theyre not big power cars, they dont handle as well as everyone thinks they do and they have an open deck block and glass transmissions.

if he wants to lose money, im sure theres guys that will pop up on here that are pushing low low 12s on a stock T25 and stock motor.

if he wants a drift competition, then thats just gotta be a joke. nuff said.

Im confused ? does he have a GSX,TSI,VR4, or WRX?I supose an EVO would also fit into the AWD turbo class but we all know that that car isnt due to be out for about 1 more week.No matter what kind of car this AZZ is driving its just stupid to go to a Nissan/Infiniti board and start dogging on Nissans. :withstup Maby this thread should just be closed?

It's funny that I own my buddy's GEN1 DSM with a big 16G 550's and a MKIV IC in both 1/4 mile AND in the cornners. I guess it's the size that matters.... fat cars are for fat women (but I guess you got that covered with your girlfreind)

If I were you I wouldn't brag about driving a chick car, even if it has a little turbo on it.

You want to talk Man sized turbo's step up and get a 60-1 or larger.

And why is it that every DSM looser on the planet will go to the ends of the earth to keep their stock turbo manifold? Hell even when they 'upgrade' it's to another crap stock manifold. Why put all the effort into sticking a 20G or a crazy Frank turbo onto a stock manifold, then spend the time to tack on a wastegate..... for what?

I think he took a hint from his crank and went for a walk......

I've read rumors on the internet that there are actually some 2nd Gen's out there that still have the original motors..... but it hasn't been confirmed.

How's this:

I've got $100 in my wallet that says I OWN his DSM from a 40mph rolling start. And I don't give a damn what you do with the boost. First one to 150 mph takes the cash. Simple.

BTW, I'm half a ton heavier and RWD, under 300 hp, and bone stock.

Geek.

well I got a $2000.00 GTS4 Skyline that will out drag and drift the loser. I've already killed an Eclipse in this bucket, what's one more. Took out an R33 GTS-T last night, wadda chump.

drifting is about style and show boating, not who gets around the track first (thats why there are a panel of judges). It would be pretty hard for a DSM to hold a drift longer than a 240sx, or any RWD car for that matter. The longer the drift, generally, means bigger points (so long as you show you are out of control, but in reality, you are in FULL control). If you'd like to learn more, read this article about a former drift king

http://www.autospeed.co.nz/cms...=0617

And, if you check out what the current drift King in Japan is driving, you'll see its a silvia s15

oh look, here he is in actionhttp://www.alfaclub.com.tw/files/r34vss15.wmv

Do some research on what you are boasting about, before some more shat slips off your lip.

Not all AWD Turbos are bad. I'm an Audi fan as well as Nissan fan (not a DSM fan). I occasionally toss my friend's modded S6 quattro on race courses. Big, quick, very fast. very predictable handling. When we're on the track together, and he's in that S6 and I'm in my old 240sx, I try not to let him lap me...uh...twice in a 20 lap session. Big difference in power

Its not always the car though, the skill of the driver matters alot!!! I have a video of a r34 on the track against 2 hatchis and the 2 hatchis(underpowered) end up beating the r34, pretty kickass video.

Ok i think this guy is talkin about a 1st gen talon or eclipse. maybe a laser, I personally have no beef with these cars, there quick in stock form, and can be made mad quick for mad cheap, but they bust all the time, and are a ***** to fix sometimes. But still everyone needs to relax, cause as the dude says with the mods he has, he'll own most of us 240 owners, he'll own me, but still hes a ***** for coming here and starting random internet bull shiit, Take your DSM, your crap 2nd gear, your crank walkin engine, my timing belt broke so i needa rebuild, *** outta here FAAAAAAG!

12second240, the biggest thing is, he comes on here talking mad ****, that is one way to say "I wish I had a cool car" and hell ya we should be pissed and flame his retarted ***, also he mentioned about tearing up a 240 in drifting and that includes handeling, which we all know that is lie, DSMs suck at handeling and we all know that :)

I own a 240SX and a WRX. Love both cars. Not sure what this guys beef is with N/A RWD cars. Typically, AWD cars are heavier and the benefit of AWD doesn’t outweigh the weight restriction with tight turns. Right now with the snow that Indiana has gotten, I stand by my AWD turbo. Had a weird experience last Sunday. Drifting snow kept a lot of people off the streets. Saw more Subarus on the road than any other make. If this guy is a Subaru enthusiast, I apologize. Most Scoobaru enthusiasts are not like this.

SCC did an AWD turbo test that was very interesting (didn’t see any DSMs). The Nissan Skyline didn’t blow away the competition like I expected it to, but did very well. I would have liked to see how the Cobb Tuning WRX would have done, if it had not hit the water truck (CRUNCH!).
