i have my avic-x710bt already and am waiting for a few other parts to start on my install so i have a couple questions.

1. to perform the bypass on the headunit, I know i have to move the position of the mute wire and ground it along with the parking brake wire. my question is, does it matter if i ground them to the same spot?

2. does it matter if anything else is grounded to the same spot?

3. im also installing a couple of subs and amp and i wanted to make sure that 8 gauge wire is big enough. nothing big just 300watts rms and i dont plan on adding anything in the future to it. i think it should be enought but i wanted some input. btw its for an altima coupe and amp is going to be in the trunk.

4.does anyone have any pictures of where they grounded the amp in the trunk?

5. unrelated question, how hard is it to change the in cabin filter in the car?

6. where does the blue antenna control go?

thanks

btw i dont think i have ever introduced myself in this forum. my name is jose and im from fort worth tx. i will post pic of my install to show how it went. thanks for any answers.

Go here for info on pioneers.

http://avic411.com/

3. I would go with 4 AWG wire

5. There is a write up with pics somewhere for changing the in cabin air filter. You will have to use "Search"

6. I had to buy an antenna adapter. I do not think I used the blue wire. Again there is a write up for installing an AVIC series pioneer, you will have to search for it. There probably is a link in the "FAQ - start here first thread" at the top.

BTW Welcome to NICO
