I loved my altima, but I love my 240 even more. the altima was automatic, and the 240 is 5 speed. the difference in handling is night and day. I love my 240, but wish I had my altima to take my girl out on dates and just to drive when I want to impress!

yea, thats when i realize how much i love my altima, when i take a girl out and she compliments on 'such a nice car'. But i still want a 24o for fun driving, or even better yet: a 35oZ, nice ness and damn fun to drive

I can agree with the altima being a better car than a 240. My girlfriend was actually sad I sold it and she really doesn't care much for cars. She just liked that it was comfortable, and looked very luxurious for what it was. Being that it was an auto and low miles, it rode really nice.

If I could go back I would redo it and not get rid of it. I think I am definitely an Altima guy at heart. I see the thing everyday at school and just about cry cuz I miss it. Sorry for the lamo emotional car crap btw.

I would keep the Altima just because it is newer and repairs are covered by Nissan.Maby after you get past the 50k mile mark then look to get something older if you still feel like you need to.

PS:an 02 Spec V would make a good alternate to your Altima. LOL ;)

that's true Jezter, I would definitely keep a car if it is still covered by factory warranty. I think you would miss your altima when the 240 broke down and would have to be paid for out your pocket for repairs as opposed to warranty work.

well im at 36k miles on the altima, and it is MINT (got scrapes on the back bumper getting fixed soon) and as much as i want a spec V, i can't afford another note, thats whyt i want to sell the altima, and i have a passion for 24o's that i can't get rid of

Yeah I'd trade my 240 back for my altima in a second. I guess I'm an altima guy at heart. Just wish it was rwd.

I guess i just dont understand why u would trade back, i mean unless your 24o was somewhat of a lemon. M friend has his 93 SE at 133k and runs beautifully and is very reliable and has all hte options he wants (even leather, although he is missing the LSD) and probably wouldnt sell it to me if i offerend 4k for it

my 240 is definitely a lemon. It's had to have a new engine and my clutch broke by no fault of myself. He said the spindle in the middle just snapped, so I needed to get a new clutch as well. I sold my altima hoping to have money left over to mod the 240, but all that extra money and then some has gone into making my 240 run. I just liked the niceness of my altima. It attracted more attention. The 240sx is funner to drive than my altima was, but for some reason I like my altima alot better. It rode nicer, and had less miles. I never had any problems iwth it.

true, but think about if your 24o gave you no problems at all?

I'd like it much more. If it had rims and exhaust

yeah I'm thinking about getting some u13 stock alloys and painting them black for my 240. THere is a set at the local salvage yard for 200.
