Hey guys, I'm new, I'll post about my truck soon once I get some pics. But anyway...

I just put a weber(from weber carbs direct) on my 1983 Z22 w/ automatic transmission. For some reason, after the install my transmission has been slipping a little during the shift from 2nd to 3rd. If I drive slow, or floor it it will not slip, only at normal acceleration...

Is this a change in vacuum problem? Anything else this could be? Or just a coincidence my transmission is going out?

Could be a vac issue, but I'd look more at the fact the the trans is old, and you now have a really good carb installed.

Does the transmission use a vacuum modulator?

Check the hoses and see if there are any leaks...

Could be both. Better carb means more power but it should be a problem under acceleration not at normal driving. Check the vacuum first.
