Hey everyone. I noticed today that my auto window switch only has an auto down function, not auto up. On my Versa that I purchased 2 months ago, the switch works up and down, but I know that sometimes it needs to be reset by holding it in the up position for 10 seconds after the window has rolled all the way up. I tried this on my Rogue but it still didn't work. Am I doing something wrong here or is the switch just for auto down only?

I think it's only auto-down. It uses the same switch as the Sentra, and mine's only auto-down.

The auto-up feature is included with the Leather package.

I have the leather package, but my auto up is not working. I guess I'll try resetting it. If that doesn't work it is off to the dealership.

I noticed that for Auto-Up, you have to hold it for a little over a second then let go... it'll go automatically up the rest of the way.

If you simply just tap it; It doesnt do it automatically... it was weird getting used to it, since my previous car you simply just have to tap it for it to work automatically.

I'll try that when I get home, even though I don't have the leather package (just curious to try it). Also, for Black_Hawk, you probably already know how, but just in case: make sure the window is all the way down, then roll it all the way up and hold the switch for 10 seconds after it finishes. That should do it. If it is true that the auto up feature only comes on the leather package, then let me ask this: does anyone know if I can just buy the switch and install it? Do I need to buy the entire switch cluster?

I wondered the same thing because Nissan made the '08 Sentra with auto-up windows. Underneath the trim bezel is the master window switch. You can try replacing it (somewhat expensive experiment).

Thanks for the Tip. I will try that out tomorrow on my Rogue.
