Hi! This is my first time posting, but I've done a decent amount of snooping around. Im the new owner of a 91 Cefiro with a RB20det and AWD. I also chanced my way upon a low miles R33V Spec RB26. I would love to build it up and make 450-500 hp at the wheels but it is equally important that i keep it automatic. Does anyone have any idea if there is a stock AWD trans that will handle that power and be easy to mate/affordable?And if not what trans can be built to handle that and be easily mated? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your best shot is a GTS-4 transmission. You will likely need to run the auto ECU from a RB20Det...shouldnt be an issue powering an RB26 with Nistune. You will want to have the trans sent off and built as I am seeing issues with my auto trans gts4 RB20 at 300whp/260tq. I am looking to swap over to MT soon.. could look at selling you the trans if you can't find one.
