I recently did an Auto to Manual swap, and my trans harness was pretty destroyed... I cut a few wires and re-ran them and loomed them myself to make the engine bay a little cleaner, and it seems I didn't get my wiring for the speed sensor quite right... I have the stock harness, but I stole a few connectors off it to use to clean up my wiring.

Was wondering if anyone had a diagram and pictures of the factory speed sensor wiring? I need to check to make sure my speed sensor is good, but I'm seeing voltage being created when I spin it, so I'm imagining it is still good.

If someone has pictures, or can explain which stock plug on the passenger fender the speed sensor goes through, and which color wires on that plug go to the sensor, I can wire it up and get it going. Have tried 3 different combinations of wires and none of them have worked so far... Tired of guessing.

Thank you for the help! Are there any pictures of the connector? Or just wire colors and pinouts?

I am looking at this on a 7" tablet and can barely read the wiring diagrams. If you want to see if it is making it to the dash take off the top piece of the dash cover remove chime unplug top horizontal plug and the yellow/ black wire and the blue wire are the terminus for the speed sensor

That's the problem though, I'm almost certain it ISNT making it to the dash. I had to hand-wire half the system and have just been matching the blue and yellow wires from the speed sensor to other random blue and yellow wires in the passenger fender well, hoping I'd randomly pick the right combination.

I have checked the sensor output voltage and resistance and they are both within spec, so the only other possibilities would be that I'm wired to the wrong connector, or that the head unit (Speedometer) is bad. I'm just looking to see if anyone can tell me which of the 3 connectors on that fender that the speedometer runs through. Every wiring diagram I find tells me that the wires stay blue and yellow all the way to the head unit, so there is no color change. I just need to know which connector to wire it to so that I can see if the problem corrects itself, and if not, I can start testing the head unit, and the rest of the wiring.
