Auto lock option

Car: 2008 Versa SL HB, CVT, Sapphire Blue.

I took my 2008 Versa to the dealership to see if they could program the locks to lock and unlock automatically, it's not possible. They put in on the special Nissan tool and it didn't work. My adviser said it can only be done with the Altima. I think they confirmed auto-door locking for the 2009 Versa? Is their still a way to do it?

The 08 Altima doesn't have auto locking doors either.
