AUTO DIMMING MIRROR HOMELINK COMPASS TEMP

I am planning to install AUTO DIMMING MIRROR HOMELINK, COMPASS ,OUTSIDE TEMP

Has anyone installed this in thier Versa or any one seen installation pictures, Videos

This is a good addition to car and gives a premium feel

ebay is selling this (GENTEX GENK51 HOMELINK COMPASS TEMP) for $250

is this really hard to install.

Any help is appreciated.

You beat me to the punch. Was going to ask the same question. The wife misses having the temp and compass, figured if I'm going to install one might as well get the homelink to go along with it. Shouldn't be that hard but would like to get some input from anyone who has done something like this on the Versa. Do they have anymore of the 51's on ebay.

It's kind of cool to have this in your car and also it gives a premium look inside and is very convenient as well.

I found the general installation online i think in gentex website but if I know how to carry the cables under the head liner through the firewall to outside rest is very easy

Harderst part is taking this outside temperature cable through the fire walltucked under the headliner all the way to the A pillar on the driver side

So any one who has done this share your thoughts

I bought that exact mirror from Ebay (Dave57). It came with everything needed to install and with the correct amber color display. Install isn't that hard. There is a large rubber grommet in the firewall that you can use. Cut a small slit in it and fish the temp sensor wires through with a coat hanger.

I have no affiliation with Dave57, just two good transactions.
