Anyway I get pulled few days ago didn't do anything wrong but I haven't had the car inspected yet. So I realize ok no big deal I'll get it done and I got caught nothing serious. So it's fine the guy tells me to get it taken care of and I will. Thing is, it hit me few days later, why'd he pull me over how would he know I haven't had my car inspected yet?

do they put stickers on your windshield when it is inspected? in TX you have the registration sticker and inspection sticker on the window. i got pulled over for not having my car inspected and had to pay 10 or 15 bucks after i had it inspected for the ticket.

here they put the date on the sticker, year is really big and month is just hole punched out. i think they use different colors, too.

the stickers are colored so they can tell while driving by. at least every year i think. so if 2002 is green and 2003 is....i dunno, bright yellow to match that nice super street sticker accross the rice boy's window, the cop drives by and sees a green sticker, knowing immediately ur car is gonna be up for inspection (most likely soon). there are cops around here that sit and wait for just inspections and seat belts. a trained eye can prolly see where the little hole is punched for the month relitively easy, and so he know u were inspected, say 1st dot on the left, 2002 - or January 2002....whatever

no not really, I need a new muffler thats all. And it was my friend he was in community service thing with the cop and told him to bust my balls.

Mine expired like almost 6 months ago, I got pulled over about a month ago, but the cop turned out to be one of my customers, and I always hook him up, so he let me off the hook. Then I took it to get it inspected, and they said I had to take this decal off my windshield because it was red (it was for a band, not trying to rice out my car), and it was a safety violation. I took it off, but I just have no idea why that's a safety violation.
