i know two guys who have had FC'sthey are really fun cars.... but maybe just bad luckit seems after 90,xxx miles the motors seem to go sourand involve expensive rebuilds

FD's are amazing cars, but i donno if u can grab a hold of oneS13's are however decent off the line, reliable until like 200,000 at least and just have more support and parts availablejust my $0.02
ehh, the FC is more of a hands on car. you learn to work on it. i was 18 & had an 87 t2 & that car was way over 90k miles(140k) with no rebuilds & when i got ahold of it, it got another 20k miles of *** whooping every weekend & i sold it to a local & the car is still running strong. only mods i ever did where a full racing beat exhaust & s5 taillights. i miss that car.

even though this is a nissan forum, the 240's are becoming the civics of the RWD world. everyone has one & they all look the same. i can only really appreciate one when they have anything other than a RB or SR motor. i drool when i see a 2jz, Ls1, or rotor in one.

go for the fc

If your seiouse about doing a REW 13btt into an FC make sure you look into how much it will cost. The 13btt themselves are descent around $2500, but then you have custom mototr mounts, wiring, driveshaft, and you have to beef up the rear end becasue a Tii rear end is only supposed to handle 205hp. Now when you put an FD motor in and your pushing 250 or 275hp your goona be snapping halfshafts all day. Also the RE-AMEMIA kit is wickedly expensive, like $1500 just for the Sa2000 front bumper. Now look at the latter, if you want to do another 240 you will be ahead of the game becasue youve done one before but the excitement would be less. I say go with the FC just know that the price to keep these cars running is super high. also dont buy one without motor/trans/seats for $500 thats a rip. I have a 1987 TII with motor and Trans. the only thing wrong with the car is it needs the motor put back together, and i stole the driveshaft, hood, and a few sensors. its a descent car and im only looking to get $600 or $700 out of it. It is listed locally and on RX7club.com so it could go at anytime but let me know if interested thanks.http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=738368

hmm interesting. i woudl switch between teh fc and s13 and never notice a space difference. im not very tall though so that might be it. never been in an s12 though so now im curious about the roominess. imo the sw20 has some of the best leg room ever
