Hi. I bought my Cheyenne red AWD 2011 Rogue S KROM back in January 2014. Nice ride. Bout to put a new sound system in it with red neons under the dash and seats. First nissan that I have owned. Was impressed with the power it has for a 4 cylinder. Looking forward to driving it to Bristol in a couple weeks to watch the race.

Greetings Rouge family!
New 2016 Nissan Rogue SV AWD white (might be pearl?) owner from Richmond, Virginia.
My wife made the choice and we got a spanking great deal here in RVA for it (it had 6 miles on it). However, over the next few months we are going to be adding a few "bells and whistles". There is a great after market place here called Audio Express and they do great work on Nissans.

We are planning on doing the following, and I will be sharing pics and asking for help and advice
--- Navigation (Kenwood DNN992 - I did my research and this seems to be the Mercedes of navs for the Rogue with great reviews)
--- Sunroof (any advice is appreciated)
--- fog lights (any advice is appreciated)
--- auto dimming mirror (any advice is appreciated)
--- heated seats (any advice is appreciated)

All around the above is going to cost us around $3,000 - 3,500.

Please let me know your input and thoughts on the above.

Best wishes to all and I have to agree that the Rouge is one amazing SUV for under $25K.

HI all. Just intrudicing myself. Purchased my 1st Nissan. Bought a 2011 Rogue SV AWD. For cheap and will prob be posting a few questions reguarding maintence etc. My biggest concern is the CVT tranny which has 194k miles on it. I seems to run fine but I will be dong a bunch of routine maintenance to it as I believe it has been negelected. Anyhow it seems like this is a fantastic forum for Nissans.

Hello All,

We've been looking at the Nissan Rogue for the past few months now along with brands in the same size class. Pretty set on a new 2016 Nissan Rogue SL AWD with an MSRP of ~$34,085.

I've been wondering if I should go with the 2016 or wait for the 2017 that I'd think would just be around the corner.

In any case, LONG time forum contributor so look forward to chatting with everyone!! :wavey:

Well, I'm not a new Rogue owner and have actually been here for a while. Never posted my intro. After having this little vehicle since 2008 it's been so good to us we decided to spend some $ and have it live a second life. It's got 160k and has had the normal problems that the early models had- CVT/Brakes,Battery etc. But it has been a good soldier. We have driven everywhere and back! It's been paid for a while, and fixing it up is cheaper than buying a new one. We will as soon as our daughter feels like driving- Got the upgrade bug after seeing one of these hooked up. Painted the brakes and put some WedsSport SA10-R 18x9.5 +38 with Nitto 420s tires 255/50/18- Without further ado-

We're planning to get a 2016 SL with the premium package tomorrow. I'm looking over the threads but would appreciate any pointers if I'm missing anything.

Hello. I am new to this forum. I joined about six weeks ago and this my first post. I found this forum after I traded my 2009 Toyota Rav 4 Sports AWD in for a new 2015 Nissan Rouge SV on April 13, 2016. I was a very active poster on the Toyota Rav4 forum, and I wanted something similar and googled brought me to this group. I liked my Rav but it was approaching almost 100,000 miles and was due for major maintenance and new tires. My local Toyota dealer put it in my head that I needed to upgrade to a new 2016 Rav4. However, the numbers were not working in my favor due to the Toyota Rav4 being significantly more expensive than competing vehicles. I heard some good things bout the Rouge and saw that my local dealer had some left over 2015's. I had intended only to test drive a Rouge for comparison. After driving a 2015 Rouge SV AWD and going over some financing, I ended up trading my Rav4 in that night and drove home in a new Rouge for significantly less than what an equivalently equipped 2016 or even a pre-owned 2015 RAV would have cost me. I miss the moon roof and trucklike appearance of the RAV, however, I am enjoying all the cool features of the Rouge that my RAV did not have and was only offered on the premium 2016 RAV including such as the backup camera, push button start, hill decent and assistance, the trace control. and more. My wife likes the smoother ride of the Rouge over the Rav. The CVT makes me a little nervous. I remember Saturn using a similar VTI and was a nightmare for owners due to premature failures. However, I trust that engineers all the kinks worked out on these type of transmissions worked out and I will just as good service as I wold have with the traditional automatic that is still offered in the RAV. I have also noticed that I am getting less than 20 mpg and I was hoping for a little better than that. I average 20 miles per day in the city and rarely driving above 45. I am hoping to take it on a road trip soon, to see how it does on the highway. What is the best mode to keep it in while driving around town to get the best city mpg? ECO, normal, Overdrive on or off? I do wish the switch for the eco and sport would have been located on the shifter console but the current location is kind of cool too with the bank of switches on the dash.

Hi,
I joined the forum last night (30June2016) I live in Florida and own a 2009 Nissan Rogue, bought it used from Enterprise car rental back in 2013. I traded in my Nissan Quest minivan for the Rogue. So far it's been a great car but it's starting to require minor maintenance. Since I do not own a shop manual, I figured this forum would be the second best information source on general up keep and time change recommendations.

Hi,
I just bought my 2016 Nissan Rogue SV ten days ago. I've been looking around for months since my 2002 Buick Rendezvous was on its last legs. I believe I got a good deal for a quality vehicle. So far, I am enjoying it.

Howdy.

Bought my 2011 Rogue new. Recently got a Pathfinder and the Rogue feels sluggish. Made this account to look for some cheap and easy HP upgrades.

Hey,

I'm Kevin from Alexandria, Virginia. I like long walks on the beach, baby kittens... wait... wrong forum...

Anyway, I just bought a used 2013 Rogue, and I'm trying to find some answers to my storage issues. The center console is huge, but ends up being a bottomless pit of random charging cords, note pads, gum, etc. I've searched for trays and dividers, and I've found some for other year models, but nothing for '13.

Help?

(Seriously... just kidding about the kittens thing...)

Hello from Philly area!!

Got me a 2014 Rogue SL AWD with 25k on the ODO. Hopefully will be good to me as my other cars did. Second time owning a Nissan (first was Altima back in 2004 did not give me much trouble, but I changed my car in 2 years).

I think I got a decent deal on the car and I am sure will learn a lot through this forum like other forums that I frequent.

one question though, does anyone have a step by step on installing Homelink mirror? Is Infiniti Home link mirror compatible with Rogue?

Thanks.

Hi all. We got our daughter an 08 Rogue SL AWD from a friend. 100k dealer maintained, all service done to date. But end up replacing the brakes (pads and rotors) and replaced the spark plugs. Which the dealer requested. I did it myself... Saved $$$.

I also did some cosmetic upgrades to it. Black front grill, smoked metal cast badges, window visors, painted calipers red, led license plate bulb, pedal covers. Will tint front windows next and upgrade wheels to 18 inch.

Bought a new 2016 Rogue SV with the Premium Package and Family Package. Nice car. Good site, did some research here before buying, glad it is here.

Other cars are a 2013 Chevy Volt (fabulous), a 2001 Honda Civic, and was a 2012 Nissan Quest (very nice, mpg a little low, good quality car) which I traded for the Rogue.

I ended up buying a 2012 Rogue SL AWD with all the options ticked. Got a great price and car is in pretty good condition. Looking forward to years to safe and reliable service. Snow white replaces my gen.2 Subaru Outback which was phenomenal in the snow but was starting to show its age. Looking forward to learning and being part of the forum.

Lewjay here. Just got a 2013 Rogue last week and am really enjoying it. We traded our 2012 Altima SL as we are getting a bit aged and were having trouble getting in and out. Looked at different mid size SUVs and liked the Rogue for it's size, amenities, and ease of entry exit. Ours is an SL version and pretty well loaded with only 48K on the odo.
