I have 18's...they look perfect. the size n low profile tires.now...whenever i change/rotate my wheels, they are prety f'in heavy.i was thinking...i might go with 16's as a LAST resort.

17's ftw anyone?

in other words...what size would look good and which would look weird/out of place on our Versas?

I would put in 195/55-R16 on 16X6.5 wheel or 16X7 +40 offset. You should be able to find something light. Like 15 to 18 pounds wheels + tires 20-22 pounds...

If i ever put some on my V, my combo will weight 35.5 pounds... dont know about the stock combo...

16's are not too small. A 16' mesh wheel with a big lip would look nice (only if dropped) . I have 17's and I love them. (215/45/17)

I am personally thinking of 16's this summer with springs. Mainly due to cost, not from buying the rims itself but for tires. Potholes and such makes tires buldge here as experienced with my dad's 19" with Mitch. Pilot Sports.

I think 17x8 might be pushing it, from the looks of my 17x 7's. I don't know for sure. The tires for my 17x7 are 215/45/17 it fits perfectly and leaves a little lip around the wheel so i don't accidentally curb them =]

Are you looking for a wheel/tire combo for everyday driving or racing?

Performance wise, 16" rims, and a good set of AA/A rated tires would be optimal. You dont want low profile tires either way. Sure they look cool, but your tires are the most important part of your suspension. Afterall, they meet the road. Tires properly inflated look hard and feel hard as hell, but they absorb alot of the vibrations and bumps that Low pro's dont, from the lack of material. Also, you want less Rotational Mass (size) and less Unsprung Weight (err, weight). Doing so would give you a performance edge of the competion.

For Daily Driving, 17"s would be optimal. Very small lose of performance (unless you go bling crazy, then much more), But 17"s will look better for filling in the wheel well a bit more, though still depends on the tire size. Also i highly suggest a tire that protects the rim. I rather burn the edge of the tire, then pay 2X or more to repair or buy a new rim.
